Among the 15 notable Master’s degrees cited for their record rates of placing students in professional roles, IAE Savoie Mont Blanc is particularly distinguished in the domains of Business, Management, and Finance, due to its Master 2 International Hospitality Revenue Management course in the CITHEME (Centre International de Tourisme, Hôtellerie et Management, des Evénements) department. As the magazine noted,

  • "Number of candidates: 100
  • Number of students for promotion: 25
  • Annual gross average salary upon appointment: 30 000€ to 35 000€"

Revenue Management course

The Hospitality Revenue Management course, directed by Frédéric Toitot, is part of the specialization Master in Hotel Trade Management. It prepares students to function as executives in the business and management of the hotel trade in an international context. Its success stems largely from its innovative partnership with the Accor Group, which recruits multiple graduates every year. As a trademark of IAE, the professionals and teachers continue to develop the pedagogical content together. In addition, this master’s offering addresses a niche demand for training in revenue management. Graduates are specialists in managing the costs of highly specialized, closely researched, and perfectly identified competencies by professional players in this sector.

The public business school

With its reasonable size, IAE allows students to engage in individual contact with teachers. As the article points out, the rate of professional employment following graduation from IAE is excellent. The teaching is focused on business needs, in an effort to “build programmes in line with their goals and to facilitate professional employment”. The public business schools have no need to envy schools of commerce; they compete just as effectively in providing their mission.

The Challenge list online

Did you know ?

In April 2015, IAE Savoie Mont Blanc already made this list. Challenges used the testimony of Adelie, a 2014 graduate of IAE Savoie Mont-Blanc, and currently a revenue manager at Accor Paris, who presented evidence of the uniqueness of IAE Savoy Mont-Blanc: a rare institute that offers a master’s in the hotel trade. Thanks to its partnership with Accor, the programme enabled her to achieve a well-paid position of great responsibility within the group. Adelie especially appreciated “the reasonably sized classes” and international opportunities, which allowed her to complete two semesters overseas, in Austria and in Spain.
